Missio Africanus Conference 2017

The Annual Missio Africanus Missions Conference is here again!

Theme : Mission, Culture and Theology: Africa and Britain in Conversation

Main plenary for the day will be given by:

Rev. Joe Kapolyo

Rev. Joe Kapolyo is the Lead Minister at Edmonton Baptist Church, a position that he has held for over 10 years. Before Edmonton, he was the Principal at All Nations Christian College in Hertfordshire. He comes from Zambia but has served and lived in Britain for a long time. He is recognised as one of Africa’s leading theological minds in the United Kingdom.

A major focus of his theological work has been trying to answer the question, “what would a truly African theology look like?” He has been involved in theological education for a very long time, having taught at several theological institutions in Southern Africa. Joe’s publications include The Human Condition, Christian Perspectives through African Eyes in the Global Christian Library series, published by the InterVarsity Press and “Matthew” in the Africa Bible Commentary which was edited by Tokunboh Adeyemo.
